January 31, 2016

Experiencing a DREAMERS show was like embarking on a journey to a world of colorfully passionate music. DREAMERS is a band comprised of comprised of Nick Wold, Jacob Wick, and Marc Nelson. Right from the start I could tell this band really had a way of connecting to the audience with the music they played. DREAMERS goes out on stage to have the time of their lives playing music for the fans in the audience, which resulted in an overall outstanding performance by DREAMERS. Towards the end of the night DREAMERS even took time to meet fans. DREAMERS is a very humble and genuine band deserving of every bit of recognition they can get. Having never heard a DREAMERS song before the show, I was instantly hooked right after. All the songs played that night were original and catchy in everyway. Indie rockers The Vanity release music video for Stay

January 29, 2016

Indie rockers The Vanity from Austin, Texas have just released a music video for their song, Stay. The single is one of four tracks on the band’s recent EP release, ARE YOU GOING ALONE?, now available on iTunes. Vocalist Alex Dugan comments, “We shot [the video] in Brooklyn in this really cool warehouse where they used to shoot porn in the early days. It’s not why we picked it, but it was an interesting fact to know when deciding which couch in the green room to sit on. Beyonce has also recorded a music video there, which was all the H-Town blessing we needed. She shot ‘Grown Woman’ here, which is exactly how I felt like shooting our band’s first big music video.” The song is really about counting on someone and needing that person to be there when they’re not. There’s a lot of different ways that can happen and all of them somehow find their way into the song.” Check out the infectious new track and video here: The Vanity is: Alex Dugan – [Read More]
