Jule Vera are gearing up for the release of their debut LP Waiting on the Sun on June 16th via Weekday Records. To satisfy your anticipation they have released their song Show Me. Singer Ansley Newman explains about the song, “‘Show Me’ is about wanting to move forward in a relationship with someone when you are unsure of what your future will look like with them. For our next Spotlight Band, we would like to feature a band that brings out their unique style of grunge inspired rock. They are The Nearly Deads from Nashville. The band is self-described as sounding like “Halestorm meets the Foo Fighters, with Courtney Love at the helm, if she could wail like Kelly Clarkson.” They are definitely a band that will grab your attention and have you hooked from the first listen with their infectious charisma and high energy. Michael Franti & Spearhead release music video for new single Summertime Is In Our Hands

MICHAEL FRANTI & SPEARHEAD–led by the socially and environmentally conscious singer, songwriter and guitarist–released a joyous, positive and uplifting video for “Summertime Is In Our Hands” over the Memorial Day Weekend. Filmed in Bali and directed by Franti, the video brings to life a vibrant story about enjoying every moment with a heartening plot twist towards the end.
