When I play my old Blur CDs, I am instantly transported back to San Francisco in the 90’s. Great music donned the venues and there was an abundance of bands coming from the UK and feeding us with their fresh new alternative music. One of those bands that I instantly fell in love with was Blur. Their debut album, Leisure endured endless plays on my stereo as the alternative and shoegaze era captured my attention and is still deep in my heart.
We are pleased to share the news that Blur plans to re-issue the Leisure album on colored vinyl through Parlophone. The album will be released on August 26th, the 25th anniversary of it’s initial release date in 1991.
