Interview with Shatterproof and catch them out on Best Summer Ever Tour

June 8, 2017

We recently brought you coverage from the Best Summer Ever Tour as it stopped in San Francisco which included great sets by Never Let This Go and Shatterproof.  We had the chance to chat with Shatterproof after their set at the Bottom of the Hill. Check out our interview with them here: One thing is certain, they blew us away with their set. We were excited to catch them perform since they recently signed to Revival Recordings and were impressed by our first listen.  They exceeded our expectations and have us a set that had us begging for more. Their live performance was stellar as they blended everything from rock, alternative, pop punk, gypsy rock, post-core, classical and so much more. Their violin based alternative rock will grab a hold of you and it is their live performance that has you in for for the long haul. This is one band you must see! In case you missed them, check out some photos of their set by our Rockin Ryan:   If you want to kick [Read More]

Chat with Corey Harper at BottleRock Napa, definitely one of our festival highlights

June 3, 2017

Corey Harper was one of our BottleRock Napa highlights as he swooned the crowd with his infectious vocals. The singer/songwriter creates an immediate connection with his fans and his John Mayer-esque vocals have you captivated from first listen.  He played an incredible set at BottleRock, check out some photos from our Rockin Ryan: In addition, we had the chance to catch up with Corey Harper for a quick chat, check out our interview here:   It is amazing to hear about how young he was when first introduced into music and how he studied music which led to his endless talents.  His video for Favorite Part of Loving You is one of my faves. Corey comments on the song, “The song re-paints the darker canvas of an era in my life with brighter colors to look back on, and carry through into a new one.” Corey brings out a raw authenticity to his music and videos, which is somewhat lacking in today’s scene.  You can’t help but fall in love with his songs and his emotionally [Read More]

Saint Mesa releases stellar new track Maderas, as you are whisked away to a tropical bliss

June 2, 2017

Less than a week after performing a magical set at BottleRock 2017, Saint Mesa have released their new track, Maderas. Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Danny McCook says he wrote the song when he was “in Nicaragua surrounded by monkeys, geckos, trees, and amazing friends.”  Which truly explains the mystical nature vibe that it exudes. Vocals are velvety smooth as they take you on a tropical journey of rich colors and warmth. It is the perfect “feel good” track for the summer. Check out the new track  here:   M aderas (Audio Only) by Saint Mesa on VEVO. or on Spotify here: https://open.spotify.com/album/0Cezp4sDrF59rTKfte94Ed We had the chance to chat briefly with Danny ahead of his set at BottleRock, check that interview out here: Saint Mesa kicked off the Samsung stage at BottleRock 2017 last Saturday. It was great to see people entering the festival and upon hearing them perform, race up to hear more. They delivered an incredibly uplifting and blissful set of infectious indie/alternative.
