The Last Dinner Party dazzles the sold out audience in San Francisco

Since attending their sold out inaugeral California performance last November at the El Rey Theater, we have been counting the days until we could see The Last Dinner Party. They had left such an indelible impression on us with their night of ecstatic revelry that we had it ranking as Our Favorite Concert! You can check out photos from that show here: Well we went to see them this past Tuesday, April 16th and they did it again. They have returned to give us the best concert experience. They came to play at the intimate Bimbo’s 365 in San Francisco. We arrived to the venue and the line quickly wrapped out around the block. The Kooks return to Bay Area with show at Fox Theater

The Kooks returned to the Bay Area with an amazing show at the Fox Theater in Oakland this past Friday, March 22nd. The US Tour included The Vaccines and wrapped up in Oakland with a show not to be missed. The night opened with Daisy the Great which were super awesome and had a surprising amount of fans in support. The band’s energy definitely could have them headlining in no time. Being childhood friends was highlighted with their chemistry on stage. Noise Pop brings Cherry Glazerr and Wombo to San Francisco

February 29th was a special day. No, not that it is leap year! It was the night that Cherry Glazerr returned to San Francisco. Noise Pop brought us a great show Thursday night at August Hall. The sold out show kicked off with an impressive set from Wombo and got the crowd riled up. The Last Dinner Party deliver a pure night of ecstatic revelry at the El Rey Theatre

November 6th, 2023 was a night that will go down in our music history. We travelled from San Francisco to attend the first Los Angeles show of The Last Dinner Party at the El Rey Theatre. The show was sold out and was one of only 5 US shows on their tour. This was a night not to be missed. We first heard The Last Dinner Party on our local radio station Live 105 as they were featuring up and coming bands. They played Nothing Matters and we were hooked from the first listen. We voraciously searched for more information on this English band and sat in sadness as they didn’t have any shows yet in the US. Hannah Wicklund lights up the Cafe DuNord with her stellar solo set

Last night opening up for Devon Gilfillian on his headlining tour, Hannah Wicklund performed a solo set in San Francisco. Capturing the illustrious singer/songwriter/guitarist Hannah in the intimate setting of the Cafe DuNord was the crowning achievement for a midweek show in the city. She delivered a flawless set that highlighted her passion and dedication in creating musical compositions with lyrics that bring vulnerability as well as empowerment to life. Bravo to this young lady who is a true powerhouse in the music scene today. The set started off with the blistering track On Fire, where you can really hear her guitarwork shine on a Gibson semi-hollow. The tone was impeccable. ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Kyle Rising shines with performance at The Independent SF

One of our favorite sets of the year was not at a large festival, stadium venue, world tour events. It was at the intimate venue The Independent in San Francisco last week. We were heading out to cover BabyJake on the SF tour stop and were happy to see that Kyle Rising was an opener. We watched several of his Doors covers via Instagram and couldn’t help but be in awe of his uncanny resemblance to Jim Morrison and the amazing vocals to match.
