Blackberry Smoke celebrate 20-year anniversary – new record announced

The celebrated American rock band Blackberry Smoke from Georgia will release their eagerly awaited new album ‘You Hear Georgia’ through Thirty Tigers on May 28th. On the 10 news songs, the band embodies the rich musical heritage Georgias and honors the people, places and the music of their home state. Through the cooperation with producer Dave Cobb, who’s also from Georgia, the new record is an homage to the deep respect of the band for their roots. Indie folk singer-songwriter Laura Brehm brings emotions to life with upcoming solo EP

Indie folk singer-songwriter Laura Brehm is set to release her forthcoming solo EP Breathe on July 28th via Electric Bird Records.  ‘Fans may recognize vocalist Laura Brehm from over 30 collaborations in the electronic dance music world, including popular songs such as”Monody” with TheFatRat and “We Won’t Be Alone” with Feint.’ With her solo EP, Laura brings out a softer side of her music as her EP brings to life emotions through her indie folk music. LA based indie/folk band The Great Southern are gearing up for the upcoming release of their Traded Heaven EP. The EP is set to release out on May 23rd.   The LA duo features Dash Hutton on vocals/drums and Jesse Tyre Karp on vocals/guitar. You can take a listen to the latest track off the EP, Sleeptalking  which Karp comments as, “The whole thing came alive in the studio when Renee Olstead sang the duet, such an incredible voice. Lesley Barth does it again with another great video!

  Folk rock singer/songwriter Lesley Barth has done it again. She captivates us with her new video for piano ballad, Good Like This. She brings to life the amazing atmosphere which was inspired by a recent trip to Silver Falls State Park. “I almost didn’t know what to do with how amazing the setting was,” says Barth, and that feeling is easy to understand given the stunning environment captured in the video. “It was so green, overwhelmingly vibrant and lively. I think that there’s something related about the setting and the meaning behind that song.” The clip allows viewers to venture through the park alongside the artist as the lyrics pose thoughtful questions. Folk singer-songwriter Quinell premieres video for Space to Breathe

Pacific Northwest folk singer-songwriter Quinell has release a video for his song, Space To Breathe. His soulful voice will awaken your senses with his heartfelt lyrics. It is soul bearing song as it displays such a vulnerability that has you wanting to wrap your arms around him. It is refreshing to see such honest raw emotion in a track. Quinell comments about the song, “The song, ‘Space to Breathe‘, is written about the end of a relationship.
