Raw, heavy, aggressive, and at times genuinely creepy, Kent metallers Graphic Nature are one of the most energized and exciting new bands to emerge from the British metal scene in years. Taking their name from a track on Deftones – “Koi No Yokan” album, in 2019 Graphic Nature announced themselves with the single “Grit”, and immediately began carving a name for themselves as a ferocious new force in British metal. The contemporary metal four-piece once again combine their metallic hardcore sound with technical proficiency and a stellar sense of melody. Defences announce new album and share new single “False Gods”

Hertfordshire based Alternative-Metal band Defences announce their new album “In The Balance”, which will be released October 15th, 2021. The band also revealed the rough, beautiful and confrontative new single “False Gods”. “In The Balance” is a snapshot of experiences, that Cherry Duesbury made over the last years. She looks at the unavoidable difficulties of a global pandemic as well as different cultural key events. “We wrote this because we had to”, Cherry explains. “In The Balance” is the result of the search of Defences for hope in the harsh realities of life, which they approach head-on, to find positivity. “A great amount of the lyrics are based on inner fights”, co-vocalist William Alex Young explains. Modern metallers Blood Youth have returned with a huge new single, “Iron Lung”, which was premiered last night on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter. It’s equally brutal as it is emotive, and signals a new era for the band. Vocalist Kaya Tarsus explains the song’s meaning: “We wrote Iron Lung just before the impacts of the pandemic swept across the globe, and looking back it couldn’t have been more fitting if we tried. The song centres around having someone or something to get us through each day; “Will you breathe for me?
