Seven Days Lost release their video for ‘Whiskey and Gasoline”

November 13, 2013

Shock Rock/Metal Seven Days Lost from Pueblo, Colorado have just released their video for Whiskey and Gasoline. They have been called, rock, metal, shock rock but whatever you want to call them is fine with me. They are AWESOME! Think a combination of GWAR, Murderdolls and Rob Zombie!  The song is truly bad ass and has a great rockabilly feel to it’s metal rock and it is a funny video too.  Check out their video here:   You can pick up their new CD Good Day to Die which is available and music retailers or you can pick it up right from their store on their website here. Seven Days Lost is  Joseph Vallejos (Lead Guitar & Vocals), Michael Trejo (Guitar & Lead Vocals) Gary Higdon (Bass & Lead Vocals), and Justus Downey (Drums & Vocals). These guys not only deliver incredible energy onstage but provide a visual show with their music. Seven Days Lost are pure entertainment and their new CD is demanding that they be heard! Your ears will thank you! Check out this band as [Read More]

They have recently released their album “SINISTER”  through Spread The Metal Records and it is one album you have to add to your metal collection.  It has everything from heavy metal guitars with some killer riffs, catchy hooks, combination of clean and harsh vocals, and a melodic groove that will literally draw you in further and take a hold of you. “SINISTER” is available now and you can pick up your copy here or their merch store page here. We had the opportunity to interview drummer, Mike Labate before their album release and you can check it out here: * * * * * * Music Junkie Press:  HI Mike, We are very excited about your album SINISTER which (was released) in October. Davey Suicide returns to DNA Lounge in San Francisco!

November 7, 2013

Last night was the first night of William Control’s “Revel Without a Cause” Tour.  Day 1 kicked off at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. First up was a great band from England, Fearless Vampire Killers and you can read more about them here. Next up was the shock rock act of Davey Suicide. They were playing in the upstairs of the DNA Lounge which always brings such challenges for bands with limited space and sound qualities. In addition this being the first night of the tour, they have yet to iron out the kinks in their set but that in no way stopped them from delivering a 150% performance. Their dark atmospheric rock n roll wrapped in fine tuned electronics and engaging lyrics had everyone fired up and ready for more. Davey Suicide is on Vocals, Drayven Davidson kills it on drums, Ashes tears it up on guitar and Brent Ashley plays some crunchy bass and provides backing vocals. You can check out a Tribute Video that Rockin Ryan  made which includes photos and [Read More]

Five Finger Death Punch Tribute Video and Countdown to Vol. 2

November 5, 2013

First off, I may need to remind you we are 2 WEEKS away from the release of Five Finger Death Punch‘s album, “The Wrong Side of Heaven and The Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 2”. It is set for a November 19th release via Prospect Park in North America and Eleven Seven Music elsewhere. You can still pre-order your copy here. They have been garnering such great success from Volume 1 and I can’t wait to see what Volume 2 brings. They played at the Aftershock Festival in September and were absolutely amazing. At Aftershock, these guys come out with adrenaline running through their veins and they do not let up on their fierce energy. The crowd was intense and Ivan had control of them from the front of the pit to the very back of the crowd. His magnetic drew them all in as they were then treated to the spectacular guitar shredding by Jason Hook and Zoltan Bathory. But then you couldn’t help but watch the beard, the man himself, Chris Kael, bassist [Read More]

November 1, 2013

It is Friday  night and it is time for Rock n Roll and time to PARTY, right?? We will be catching Steel Panther next Saturday at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco.  So we will bring you more details next week. French Metal band DAGOBA release new video for “The Great Wonder”

October 31, 2013

I have been really digging the new music by French metal band, DAGOBA! Even though they have been around since 1997, they are finally getting the recognition and attention they deserve here in the States. They have just released their new video for “The Great Wonder” which is off of their new  LP “Post Mortem Nihil Est,” that will be available here in the US on November 5th. Check out the video:     These guys truly have a great clean Metal sound that I am really loving! They kind of remind me of a mix of Five Finger Death Punch and All that Remains. The vocals are clean and sharp, precision drumming and bad ass guitars.  DAGOBA is currently out on tour in support of DIR EN GREY and they are making a stop in San Francisco at the Regency Ballroom on November 23rd.  We will see if we can bring you an interview with this amazing metal band. DAGOBA is  Shawter on Vocals/Machines, Franky Costanza on Drums,  Zon Guitar and Werther Ytier on Bass. ~Marisol Information [Read More]
