Love Crushed Velvet release new video for Spotlight

June 20, 2014

Love Crushed Velvet from New York City have released their new video for their song, “Spotlight”. The track was originally released on Love Crushed Velvet’s compelling new EP Delusions in September, mixed by Mark Needham (Blondie, Fleetwood Mac, The Killers). Love Crushed Velvet brings to life their melodic rock track with captivating vocals.   Check out the video here:   We had the opportunity to talk with Love Crushed Velvet and are pleased to repost that interview here: * * * * * *  Music Junkie Press: Thank you so much for taking the time out to talk with us here at Music Junkie Press.  First, we have to tell you that we are loving the video for Bye, Bye Baby. That song is really one of my favorites off Delusions, can you tell me a little bit more about that song? Love Crused Velvet: “Bye Bye, Baby” is about how challenging it can be to process the end of a relationship because things sometimes spiral downwards so quickly.  Much of one’s perception about the other person is formed during the “honeymoon” period when everything is going swimmingly. Check out the fun video by Mainland for Leave The Lights On

June 19, 2014

Summertime is here and what better way to enjoy it than by checking out the new video by Mainland for their song, Leave the Lights On. The fun video features the band having summertime fun, skating around town and having drinks by the Hudson River. Lead singer Jordan Topf sneers, “Living in the city, I get so bored,” with Julian Casablancas-like aplomb in the track’s bridge, the adolescent energy and colorful nostalgia of these visuals are anything but blasé. ”  Check out the video here: The catchy song is off their 2nd EP, Shiner and it really brings out the fun in the sun California style. Their EP has four tracks of energetic indie-rock that fuses everything from grunge to punk to rock and everything in between. They are the answer for your aural pleasures! Mainland is: Jordan Topf – Guitar, Synth and Vocals Corey Mullee – Lead Guitar and Synth Alex Pitta – Bass Dylan Longstreet – Drums Make sure to pick up their new EP on iTunes. I will leave you with another one of my favorite tracks [Read More]
