Starbenders release new song and video for We’re Not Ok

June 15, 2023

One of our favorite sets of 2022 was catching Starbenders perform at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco.  We had been following the Atlanta-born glam/punk rockers for a while and finally got to see them LIVE. They blew away our expectations with a set that was stadium worthy!  Check out some of the photos from that show by our Rockin Ryan: Today we are excited to share the video for their new song, We’re Not OK which is off their upcoming album, Take Back the Night set for a September 22nd release via Sumerian Records. Check out the video here: Kimi Shelter comments about the song, “When I initially wrote “We’re Not OK”, I was thinking about the struggle I’ve had with spirituality. Sometimes I feel like a poser when I try to tap into faith. That small voice going, “you really don’t believe”, “you know it’s not going to be any different”… and on and on. I brought my mentor and dear friend, James Hall, in to co-write. He was able to bring more light to [Read More]

Check out the latest video from Nashville rockers The Pink Spiders

June 15, 2023

Another great new band that you have to know! Nashville power rockers The Pink Spiders have released a video for their third single, Let’s Go Home, off their first album in 5 years, “Freakazoid,” that’s due out July 7th from Pure Noise Records. Frontman Matt Friction comments about the new song, “’Let’s Go Home’ is the first Pink Spiders song to celebrate the low-key joy of skipping the party and the bad decisions and just kickin it at home with the ones you love. It’s a bit out of character, but we felt like it was time for an anthem to taking care of yourself and not waking up with regrets. This sign of maturity will likely resonate with fans and critics alike.”  Check out the video here:   You can pre-order the new album, Freakazoid”   HERE. GRETA VAN FLEET delivers stellar performance in Sacramento on final Dreams In Gold tour

March 30, 2023

One thing is certain Greta Van Fleet holds a special place for us.  Their music back in 2017 was not only the soundtrack to our tumultuous ups and downs but it was what provided healing for us as we lost our home and business during the Santa Rosa 2017 Wildfires.  We have enjoyed the journey and growth through their music in the past several years and with the new songs, they have continued to grow in every way. We recently caught Greta Van Fleet in Sacramento at the Golden1 Center for their final performance on the Dreams in Gold (DIG) tour.  It was an epic show that not only was the perfect way to close out the DIG era, but ushered us in to the next phase of their musical journey. The show kicked off with a killer set by one of our faves, two-time Grammy nominated band,  The Rival Sons.  The crowd rocked out to their energetic set and they treated them to a performance of their new song, Rapture which is off [Read More]

Thrice share new single “Open Your Eyes And Dream”

September 20, 2022

California rock band Thrice released their latest single “Open Your Eyes And Dream” via Epitaph Records. Check it out: Frontman Dustin Kensrue about the new song: “It’s so very easy to believe that big systemic issues can’t change because we’ve lived with them our whole lives. But if you look back and zoom out a bit, it’s easy to see that this feeling of permeance and inevitability is just an illusion. Most things seem impossible until they happen. This song is about opening our eyes to that reality, and being willing to dream something better into existence.” Thrice will be out on a co-headliner tour with Coheed and Cambria in the UK and Europe in October.
