Ashley Xtina new EP Stability will bring harmony to your heart

I love how the simple act of listening to music can bring out a range of emotions or even bring a particular memory to surface. I love when a musician can connect so well to the listener that their words and visions intertwine with the each other. Tonight, I experienced just that when I listened to the new EP Stability by Ashley Xtina. Four amazingly well written songs that are not only emotionally driven but complete capture the listener and transports them to another place. The vocal range and execution by Ashley is gratifying. Her voice can transition from powerful to vulnerable, from mysterious to sultry and so much more. The first track So Sorry has a soothing almost ethereal intro and then you are greeted with the crisp and heartfelt lyrics of Ashley. Brody Dalle‘s Debut Solo release, Diploid Love is available now on CD and Vinyl. This solo album is a deeply personal album as it takes the listener on a journey about life, creating it, living it and surviving it. Brody spent a year writing, playing, recording and co-producing her first solo album, a riotous blast of punk rock with a pop sheen that storms through ideas about the modern age, triumphing against the odds and even spirituality. The ex-Distillers front woman co-produced the album with Alain Johannes (Arctic Monkeys, Them Crooked Vultures, Mark Lanegan) at his studio, and at her and husband Josh Homme’s studio Pink Duck, both in California. “I’ve always had a hand in crafting how it’s going to sound and hearing it and trying to make that happen. Brilliant Singer Songwriter Yuna releases new live video for Mountains

The brilliant Malaysian singer songwriter Yuna has released a new live video of her performing her song, Mountains which was filmed by herself earlier this year. The track comes from her latest full length album Nocturnal, released last October via Verve Records. Tamar Haviv set to release debut album “You and Me Without Pajamas” in July

Singer-songwriter, Tamar Haviv has officially announced the release of her debut album You and Me Without Pajamas, set to drop on July 29th! With a refreshing range of heartfelt ballads, fun pop tunes and tales of love and longing, the album features various notable musicians such as Jerry Marotta (Paul McCartney, Peter Gabriel, Indigo Girls), Sara Lee (The B-52’s, Ani DiFranco) and Kevin Salem (Rachael Yamagata, Mandy Moore). While crafting You and Me Without Pajamas, Tamar gave herself permission to write simple and, at times quirky, songs. “I let myself express my purist desires. For example simply saying ‘I like you,’ unpacking that thought from all the potential luscious poetry around it, it’s keeping it in its rawist form.
