The WHO announce 50th Anniversary Tour for 2015!

I can still remember a vivid memory of the first time I listened to The Who. I was a young kid in the 1970’s and I could hear the wailing guitar and fierce vocals of The Who coming from my older brother’s room. I was drawn to it as I got closer and closer to get more of my fix of my craving for Rock n Roll. My older sisters were busy playing the latest disco tunes and practicing their dance moves but that was no match to the fire that The Who ignited in me. I loved the raw intensity of their music and how it’s organic sound just spoke to me, a rebellious young child who refused to be my sister’s dance partner any more. I wanted….. Night Demon sign to Century Media Records and catch them out on tour now!

The heavy metal band from Southern California, Night Demon have announced that they have signed to Century Media Records in anticipation of their early 2015 release. The three piece metal band are currently on tour with legendary NWOBHM band, Raven with a long string of dates that go into the holiday season.  See dates below.  The band had this to say about joining Century Media: “We are very excited to be joining the Century Media family. SIXX A.M. announce dates for first headline tour in support of Modern Vintage

Sixx A.M. have just released their highly anticipated third album, Modern Vintage on October 7, 2014 release through Eleven Seven Music. Sixx A.M. features James Michael (vocals), DJ Ashba (guitar) and Nikki Sixx (bass).  Nikki Sixx bassist comments on the album, “Like our favorite bands from the 1970s, Sixx:A.M. is rooted in songwriting, musicianship and lyrics – three core elements that helped to define that era. Sixx:A.M. has taken even more pages from this book on “Gotta Get It Right” and the rest of Modern Vintage, having hopefully created a record that demands to be discovered again and again.” Now that the album is out, we can get all get excited for the tour! Megafauna getting ready to set out on West Coast tour dates!

It was just last month when we brought you our interview with the incredible prog-rock/alternative band Megafauna from Austin. I am excited to announce they are getting ready to set out on their West Coast Tour dates next week! Check out the cool West Coast Tour Poster which was created by Tristan Lewellyn, John Musci and Austin Haines.   If you don’t already have it, make sure to pick up their latest release, Maximalist which is quite deserving of your attention. I am not going to do them the injustice of trying to place them into a music genre category because their fresh new bold style of music fuses a variety of musical influences and have successfully created their own unique sound. Future Leaders of the World are set to release new track, Not Forsaken and tour with Saliva

New Orleans, LA based Alternative Rock group Future Leaders of the World (F.L.O.W.) are back and will be releasing a brand new studio album titled “Reveal”in March 2015.  To give fans a taste of what’s to come, the band’s label Pavement Entertainment will release a new song entitled “Not Forsaken” from the upcoming album digitally on October 27th. It will be sold as a special bundle with the band’s gold selling hit single “Let Me Out” re-recorded as a special acoustic version. Sean Danielsen of Smile Empty Soul set to release solo EP, Food Chain and an acoustic tour

The guitarist/vocalist Sean Danielsen from Smile Empty Soul is set to release another solo EP. This time his EP, Food Chain will feature five full band songs recorded at Babylon Studios in Van Nuys, California. “I’m really excited to be releasing my own solo music and doing my own shows,” said Danielsen. “It’s a nice change of pace for me, and a challenge that I’m looking forward to.” Sean is planning on setting out on a fall acoustic tour which is set to start on Halloween.
