Radio Revival Tour makes a stop in SF at legendary Fillmore with Ryan Cabrera and Secondhand Serenade!

RadioRevivalTour-460x305

We made it to the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco this past Friday. We were excited to catch the second night of the Radio Revival Tour featuring Ryan Cabrera and Secondhand Serenade.  It was a magical night as they filled the venue with infectious and emotive songs. The show kicked off at 7:00 with great sets from Nick Thomas, Runaway Saints and Wind in Sails. Three great bands with varied styles that all did an amazing job at bringing their passionate music to life.

Ryan Cabrera released his new EP, Wake Up Beautiful  via Dynamite Music/Caroline and he treated the crowd to several of his new songs. His new single, House on Fire has been garnering well deserved high praise and the crowd loved it! Another new song favorite was the energetic and addictive Sing Along. This is such a great track and I could picture it being the song that would be sung in pubs or parties. It has this great feel good vibe that has you living for the moment. It was surreal to see so many young women bring out that young iiner teen singing along to the songs and reliving their love for Ryan. You could see them build up with excitement and then you would catch them being in awe of the moment. Almost realizing that they have grown up and Ryan’s music has too. His vocals were spot on and he so easily connected with each fan as they entered that room, only to have them leave as long time friends.

It was great to see Secondhand Serenade perform at The Fillmore and to witness their “hometown” show on this tour. It was like seeing the return of an old friend and picking up exactly where you left off. The energy was infectious and the crowd sang along to their favorite tracks. I was happy to see them perform songs from their latest album, Undefeated. John’s emotive vocals draw you in and he brings the spotlight to his passion for his music.

What an amazing night of fantastic music! The tour just started so please make sure to check the dates below and get yourself to a show! Consider it an immediate mood elevator and whatever is going on in your life or troubles you have, they disappear as soon as you enter that venue. Become part of the magic that live shows bring. There is no replacing that feeling of being part of the music and the performance. We will be bringing you interviews with both Ryan and John so stay tuned!
