Napa Valley Wine Train Presents Rock the Rails

Inaugural Event Featuring Big Bad Voodoo Daddy on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at V Sattui Winery

 

Get ready for a new wine and music adventure as Napa Valley Wine Train introduces Rock The Rails.  The music series will benefit the Rail Arts District (RAD) Napa Valley. Rock the Rails offers the ultimate wine country music and culinary experience including round trip transportation on the Napa Valley Wine Train, custom menus paired with select Napa Valley wines, culminating with preferred seating and top musical performances at intimate winery settings. The Rock the Rails series kicks off on Thursday, August 24th, featuring Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at V Sattui Winery. Opening for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy are Mitch Woods & His Rocket 88’s and Lost Dog Found.

“We are so excited to invite everyone out to this inaugural music series evening filled with great food, a fun, relaxing round trip ride on our historic train cars, and a magical evening at one of the most celebrated wineries in the valley, V Sattui,” stated Scott Goldie, Wine Train Partner. “We are also pleased that a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Rail Arts Districts (RAD) next wall mural project scheduled this summer.”

Rock the Rails offers a variety of all-inclusive packages ranging from small bites to multi-course meals paired with Napa Valley Wines. All packages include round trip transportation on the Napa Valley Wine Train on a variety of classic restored rail cars and admission to the music performances, followed by post performance sweet bites and libations for the train ride back to the Wine Train station.

 

Additional Rock the Rails event performances include iconic superstar Sheila E on Thursday, September 21st at Grgich Hills Estate.
