Sometimes I can find myself drowning in the fast paced world of today. Of course, when I do feel overwhelmed, I always turn to music to get me through. The music of Skye|Ross is definitely the cure all for those moments when you need to step back and breathe in new life. Skye|Ross which features Morcheeba vocalist Skye Edwards and multi-instrumentalist Ross Godfrey. They have enlisted members of their families to join in and together they have created their album, Skye & Ross. The album is set for a September 2nd release on Cooking Vinyl and it features music that will feed your soul.
Imagine if you will, standing in the center divide of the freeway, with cars whirling by on both sides, and becoming overcome with the challenges of life; bills, mortgages, kids, time, health concerns or whatever stressors they may be. For that moment, you might feel numb or disconnected. When you take a listen to the velvety smooth music of Skye|Ross, it all seems to disappear. You can be standing in the middle of the storms of life and feel the calmest you have ever been. You can feel the open air around you as your senses are awoken and you feel rejuvenated. The rich warmth of their music settles into your soul and creates an uplifting experience. It is the cure – all, mood elevator that we all need more of.
