To get you ready for Cal Jam 17 check out our picks for the Top 7 Bands to Catch at CalJam!

7. The Struts – British rockers bringing the fun old school rock n roll to the stage with a fashion and flair.

6. Wolf Alice – Alternative rockers from the UK that shine through their colorful music and groove-inducing vibes!

5. Pinky Pinky – Hot new young from Los Angeles delivering prog-inspired rock wrapped in psychedelic vibes.

4. White Reaper – Fun, high spirited rock with a blend of old school punk edge. It is no wonder their LP is  called The World’s Best American Band!

3. Royal Blood – Who can believe that so much energy and full bodied music could come from a duo? We caught them at OutsideLands and you couldn’t pry us from their set! Fully engaging and intense!

2. Foo Fighters – Who doesn’t want to see the killer sets put on by the Foo Fighters? We saw them at BottleRock earlier this year and it was phenomenal – WOW factor to a 100!

1. Cage The Elephant – Where do I start? Well, this festival is a reunion of sorts, being that the first time we saw Cage the Elephant, they were opening for the Foo Fighters in 2011 in Sacramento. We were wide-eyed and blown away with their stage presence and performance. Fast forward to 2017 and the intensity continues to rise with each and every performance. We caught them at OutsideLands this year and as quoted by Ryan, “Cage put on the best set of the year for me and I’ve covered hundreds of sets in 2017. It was spine-tingling and gave me goosebumps!” Do not miss their set at CalJam 17!
