MJP: Thank you very much for taking the time out to talk with us here at Music Junkie Press. Can you tell us about your new single, Daughter of Demolition? What inspired you for that song?

Emily:  My new single, “Daughter of Demolition” came from my own experience going through a really dark and emotional time in my life. I was holding on to negativity that was weighing me down. I realized that I had complete control over how I dealt with it. My song is intended to show that you can walk through the darkness and come out stronger on the other side.

MJP: You successfully bring a great depth of emotion to the song, did you find it an emotional process when you were recording the song?

Emily: Yes I most definitely did. When I am writing a song with pen and paper, I’m looking at it from the outside. However, once i began to put those lyrics to music and sang it, that is when I become most vulnerable and allowed myself to truly feel and allowed others to join in the vulnerability, because so many people could be struggling with the same things. It is almost like a bonding experience with my listeners.

MJP: What is next in store for Into The Further?

Emily:  We plan on continuing to write music that is relatable and hopefully empower listeners to find their strength. We plan to have our E.P out very soon, compiled of music that is heavy yet melodic with a very eery vibe. We want to take the time to create a dramatic stage performance to captivate our listeners. Our next step is to line up a few show dates as well as tour!

MJP: You have a great fanbase and we have already seen some covers come out for Daughter of Demolition. How is to hear how your music inspires the gift into others?

Emily:  Hearing and seeing others embrace our music, makes all the hard work worth it for us. It is very flattering as an artist to watch others put their own spin and perform our music. The feedback from our fans and supporters motivates us to keep creating and sharing our art. It proves to us that we are not alone in what we write about.

MJP: Who are some of your biggest inspirations for music?

Emily:  We have a wide range of influences, from HIM & Marilyn Manson to Evanescence and Avenged Sevenfold. We get inspiration from all of them and build upon that to create our own unique sound.

MJP: Being a strong, confident, and inspiring young woman as you are, What advice could you give to others who are struggling with cyber bullying or depression?

Emily: Our own inner strength is greater than we think. When faced with challenges such as cyber bullying, anxiety, or depression, that is when we need to look “Into The Further” depths and push forward. Again, people need to realize that they are in control of their emotions and how they react to trying times. I sometimes suffer from depression and anxiety and one thing that helps me over come it is to surround myself with great people that share the same interests and art as me. As well as surrounding myself with people who won’t let me fall into depression’s hands.

MJP: With the overload of the internet and digital overload, do you ever find yourself having to digitally disconnect form it all?

Emily:  The internet and myself have a love/hate relationship. It is great for connecting us to new friends as well as reuniting us with old friends. But too much of it can lead to disconnection from the people that are physically in our lives as well as missing out on the opportunities we have in front of us because we are too focused on the virtual world. Try one day without going on the internet. It is hard but you will realize how great it is to not have your phone buzzing all the damn time haha!

MJP: Do you have any upcoming shows planned?

Emily:  As of right now, we are currently in the studio focusing on finishing up our E.P. Show dates will be announced soon! Be on the lookout!

MJP:Lastly, is there anything else you would like to share with your fans and our audience?

Emily: Yes! Thank you to all of our supporters and ITF Family for giving us so much love! We appreciate every single ounce of support we get. Also, don’t be afraid to keep in contact through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube and we would love to see all you beautiful creatures at our shows!
