The young Metal band Lost Haven from King of Prussia, PA are gearing up for their show this Saturday at The Croc.  They will be opening for I The Breather and will be delivering their fierce dose of metal to the crowd. These guys may be fairly young but after several lineup changes and a name change, they are hard at work making a name for themselves.  We had the chance to chat with drummer, David Adler and are pleased to bring that interview to you here:

Music Junkie Press: Thank you so much for taking the time out to talk with us here at Music Junkie Press!  Can you tell us what you guys are currently working on?

David: Thank you for having us! We are working on numerous songs at the moment. We’ve been trying expand on the diversity of our music by incorporating many new styles into our music.

Music Junkie Press: We understand you have a show coming up in March, can you tell us more about it and if you will be playing any new songs as well?

David: We actually have a show March 14th at the Crocodile Rock in Allentown PA. We’re extremely excited for this show because we will be opening up for the Life Reaper Tour. The tour includes I The Breather, Exotype, Forevermore, and Come The Dawn! It’s going to be a wild show. We will be debuting two new songs that are our best stuff yet.

Music Junkie Press: Tell us about your music and which bands influenced most of you to achieve your signature sound?

David: Our music has a wide variety of influences that shape how we sound. Some of the bands that we listen to are Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, KISS, Motley Crue, Pantera, Upon A Burning Body, Death Of An Era, and Periphery. At this point we are more like progressive metal.

Music Junkie Press: Now you guys have been together for a few years and underwent a name change to Lost Haven. Can you tell us more about that?

David: We changed our name because our old name was a little cliché (No Regrets). We had started the band when we were 13 and 14, so as we got older we realized that we needed a more suitable name.

Music Junkie Press: What is in store for Lost Haven for 2015?

David: We have plans to go into the studio before summer and put out a two song demo. After the summer we will be going back into the studio to record our new EP. Other than that, we will be just playing shows whenever and wherever.

Music Junkie Press: Any plans on heading out to the West Coast?

David: At the moment not really. Eventually we would love to go out there and play.

Music Junkie Press: If Lost Haven could put together their dream lineup, what three other bands would you love to see on the bill?

David: Our dream lineup would have to be KISS, Motley Crue, and then Pantera. Just even thinking about that would be pretty crazy.

Music Junkie Press: For the energy you guys bring to the stage, do you guys have any preshow rituals?

David: We pretty much run around backstage. It gets us really pumped up. And redbull, redbull is our friend.

Music Junkie Press: If you guys could take any song from a completely different genre and turn it into a Lost Haven style, what would it be?

David: Probably “Coco” by O.T. Genesis. We think that we would kill that song. That jawn would be fire.

Music Junkie Press: If we could peak into your Ipod, what artist or song might we be most surprised at finding in there?

David: Artists like Mariah Carey, Adele, Snoop Dogg, N.W.A., Earth Wind and Fire, and 2Pac. We love old school rap, disco, and some new pop.

Music Junkie Press: You guys are all young, yet very dedicated with your music, where would you like to see Lost Haven in five years?

David: Well of course we want to be the biggest to ever exist, but we would be extremely comfortable with just being on tour and living the life. That’s all we all really want.

Music Junkie Press: What do you guys like to do when you are not working on music?

David: Honestly we really don’t do much aside from music. We go to a lot of shows too. We dabble in things like skateboarding and video games.

Music Junkie Press: Lastly, is there anything else you would like to share with our audience and your fans?

David: Just to look for our new material about to come out. They will not be dissapointed. We thank everyone who is reading this and for all the support.
