A Hero To Fall is the answer to your need for some heavy new music!

We featured a local Santa Rosa band, A Hero To Fall last month as they were chosen as one of the 25 Bands competing for a record contract with KBB Records (New Label by Asking Alexandria’s Ben Bruce and Kyle Borman). We are still waiting to hear if they have been chosen as one of the 10 bands to make it on the KBB Records Digital Summer Sampler, fingers crossed! Sunday night we headed to San Francisco to catch Cherri Bomb perform at the DNA Lounge. What a spectacular set they played, make sure to read our post about it. To our delight, one of the opening bands, was A Hero To Fall. We had the chance to talk with the band before their set and are pleased to bring that interview to you here:

They had to deal with some set up issues which is pretty typical when you perform in the upstairs Above DNA. It is really a smaller stage and sometimes takes a while for set up. But they pulled it through and these young men came out and delivered a non-stop energetic set.

They are a post hardcore/ progressive rock band which is comprised of some very hard working members. These guys have the music, the passion and the drive to succeed in the tough music industry. One thing is for sure, they do not disappoint when it comes to giving an energetic adrenaline filled set, complete with heavy guitars, jumps in the air, growling backing vocals, intense precision drumming and deep basslines. I hope they make it on the KBB Digital Summer Sampler because I know once you hear them, you will love them. They are set to play on June 12th here in Santa Rosa at the Live Musician’s Co-op as they open for Farewell, My Love on the Rock & Rebel Tour Jamies Elsewhere, Incredible’ Me, Lionfight and Awoken Shadows.
