We can’t wait for October 2nd which is the release date for the third full length studio album from New Years Day. After listening to a couple of the tracks, we are sure this album will be topping the Best Albums of 2015! New Years Day have had quite a year and it is not over yet. They delivered some of the best sets this summer out on Vans Warped Tour and frontwoman Ash Costello hosted the APMAs Red Carpet and has taken an active role as spokesperson for PETA.
The new album was produced by Erik Ron (The Word Alive, Motionless In White) and is the band’s first release on Another Century Records. Ash comments about the album,
“Malevolence is the most personal album we have ever written to date. More than ever you can really feel the blood and tears in these lyrics. It wasn’t an easy process because it was so emotional but what came from it is honest and real. It’s therapeutic and angry but still shows vulnerability.
Our producer Erik Ron will always start an album by asking me “what are you feeling right now?” to which I replied “pissed off.” I think anyone that has suffered through loss, betrayal, insecurity and abandonment will absolutely relate to it. For me, it felt so good to get everything I had been bottling up out and hopefully it helps others in the process.”

We are excited that they have announced tour dates for their fall headlining tour in support of the new album. Check the dates below and make sure to get yourself to a show. Their stage perfomance is incredible as they always deliver 150% from start to finish.
