Day 3 of our 12 Days of Vocalists belongs to Gerard Way! There is no doubt that he has has an amazing voice which blew us away during his years with My Chemical Romance. His image adorned the walls of many teens as he has an amazing way of connecting through his music. Earlier this year, he once again reigned in the spotlight with his solo career as he toured across the country to sold out venues in support of his album, Hesitant Alien. We caught him in San Francisco at the legendary Fillmore and it was one of the highlights of all our concerts this year.
Gerard‘s stage presence is that of a dapper crooner as he took the stages in his fashionable attire and girls literally swoon over him. Gerard has brought to life the Britpop genre into his music and his infectious energy and style just might be the one to revive that genre in the music scene today. He completely grabs your attention with his performance. He has such an intense passion when he sings that you are just captivated by his magnetic charm.
Gerard‘s vocals carry such emotion and it is no wonder that so many fans feel such a connection when he sings. He brings out the complete honesty in his music, which is somewhat lacking in today’s music scene. His singing has this way of reviving your heart as he ignites passion into the listener and encourages them to follow their dreams and never let go of hope. He truly makes the world a better place.
