Los Angeles, CA – LA’s monthly event Emo Night: Taking Back Tuesday has teamed up with Rolling Stone to announce the line up for their massive one-year anniversary celebration! On December 1st, fans will have a chance to enjoy live performances and DJ sets on 4 stages from renowned artists including Dashboard Confessional, Mark Hoppus of Blink-182, Jack Barakat of All Time Low, Mikey Way of My Chemical Romance, We Are The In Crowd, Sugarcult, FIDLAR, Seahaven, Have Mercy, and more!

Founders Barbara Szabo, T.J. Petracca and Morgan Freed say, “This past year we’ve made many so many new friends and had some amazing nights together. Heralded by LA Times, LA Weekly, Time Out LA, and more, Emo Night is a monthly event that brings together people who share the love of emo rock music from the 90’s, 2000’s, and today. It’s an excuse to rock out and drink the night away with your best friends and make some new ones while singing along to the greatest songs of your teenage years, including tracks from the likes ofTaking Back Sunday, Brand New, Saves The Day, New Found Glory, and Underoath, partnered with some old-school jams from Sunny Day Real Estate, Jets to Brazil, American Football, Jawbreaker, and Death Cab For Cutie.
Each month, a different musician from the scene guest DJs at the event – previous DJs have been Mark Hoppus of Blink-182, Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat of All Time Low, The Wonder Years, Jason Butler of letlive., Bryce Avery of The Rocket Summer,and Buddy Nielsen of Senses Fail! There have additionally been surprise acoustic performances from The Used andThe Spill Canvas! These talented artists, combined with a dedicated fan-following, has helped the event grow in size, leading it to draw over 2,000 people each night.
While the three founders of Emo Night LA originally set out to simply create a small get together of like-minded music lovers, the event has formed into more than just an extremely energetic party – Emo Night: Taking Back Tuesday is a community. From branded merchandise, to collaborations with large scale clothing brands such as OBEY Clothing and an Emo Keyboard App, to throwing these events around the country. What used to just be a monthly event in Los Angeles has expanded to something much bigger.
Simply put, Emo Night: Taking Back Tuesday is an experience you do not want to miss.
