Interview with Die So Fluid at DNA Lounge in San Francisco

Last week we brought you the coverage of The Dreaming and Die So Fluid as they took over the Above DNA Lounge in SF with incredible sets! In case you missed it, you can check it out here: The Dreaming and Die So Fluid in SF. We had the opportunity to chat with the band before their set and we are pleased to bring that to you here:

It was exciting to hear that this was their first time performing in San Francisco. They have traveled the world, performed at major festivals and have a huge overseas following, so it was amazing to catch them perform at the Above DNA Lounge. The Above DNA provides an intimate environment which completely harnesses all the energy of the musicians and the fans all the while creating an unforgettable experience. Grog on vocals and bass is intensely captivating and powerful. Drew was flawless on guitars and Al was a powerman on the drums. Together this dark powerful trio of spectacular musicians killed it! Their set included some of my faves, check it out below:

  • Figurine
  • Mercury
  • Black Blizzard
  • Comets
  • Nightmare
  • Existential Baby
  • What A Heart is For
  • Gang of One
  • Not Everyone Gets a Happy Ending

Check out some photos from the set:

There are only a few more dates left on this tour and I would strongly urge you to get yourself to a show but don’t worry since they have plans in the works for more touring in the US!

  • Thursday March 12 – Hideout – San Diego
  • Sunday March 14 – The Whisky – LA

We know that 2015 will definitely be a big year for Die So Fluid so stay tuned and make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on their latest news.
