The Cerny Brothers have successfully created a new sound for their music which originally was acoustic, folk elements to a more electric rock style. All the while, they have captured their folk spirit as it fits so well with their new music. Check out the video for their new song, Porch Lights:
The song is off of their upcoming album, Sleeping Giant, which will be released worldwide on May 12th, 2015 via Krian Music Group. The album was recorded at legendary Bear Creek Studios in Seattle with producers Jerry Streeter and Ryan Hadlock, who are known for their work with Brandi Carlile and The Lumineers. Guitarist and video director, Scott Cerny explains about the song,
“Porch Lights is about being young, desperate and hungry in a place that can’t contain your ambitions. We wanted to make a video that told a story of two lovers on the run in the biggest way we could. The need to escape, to run free, to chase that fire, wherever it may lead.”
