Here we are on our first Tuesday Travels Pick of the Week for 2014!!!! Let’s start it off with an awesome alternative style metal band, BatAAr from Gothenburg, Sweden. They truly have a unique sound that blends everything from metal to punk, electronic to deathcore. They call their style “Art Metal” and it definitely will grab you and have you wanting to hear more.
BatAAr just finished up their first ever Japan tour and it was quite successful. They definitely gained tons of new fans and we can’t wait for them to announce new tour dates…. hoping for some US dates soon. BatAAr is Seb on Vocals, Patrik on Guitar, Simon on Guitar, Jake on Bass and Tobias on Drums.

I love that song! It not only KICKS ASS but it is very well written with some very emotionally driven lyrics:
