57. The John Lennon Songwriting Contest is featured on our Countdown to NAMM 2016

For number 57 on our countdown to NAMM 2016 we wanted to feature The John Lennon Songwriting Contest which will be awarding 2 slots for Sonicbids artists. The John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the 2016 NAMM Show is accepting applications through the Sonicbids platform. Sonicbids provides a suite of tools and resources that connects promoters, venue owners and musicians with great music opportunities all over the world.

The John Lennon Songwriting Contest will be reserving 2 slots for Sonicbids artists at the 2016 NAMM Show. The 2 winners will receive an extensive prize package including over $12,000 worth of gear and all access passes to the 2016 NAMM Show.

The Band

Contest is open to range of genres including Rock, Country, Jazz, Pop, World, R&B, Gospel/Inspiration, Latin, Electronic, Folk, Children’s Music, Hip-Hop

The Gig

Details:

Artists responsible for travel, lodging, expenses
All sets are 40 minutes
Sound equipment (mics, PAs, monitors) is supplied
Backline (drum kit, amps) is provided

Two selected artists will each receive:
