Day 24 on our NAMM Countdown: Emily Faith to perform on NAMM Hilton Stage

Day 24 we invite you to check out Emily Faith as she performs on the NAMM Hilton Stage on Thursday, January 19th at 11:00 AM.

At first glance, Emily Faith might seem like many other typical teen girls – growing up in a small town; spending her time attending school, playing basketball, cheerleading, and working with her church youth group.

But a closer look will reveal that she is anything but typical.  Blessed with an extraordinary voice and love for music she began entertaining at a very young age.  Unlike many teen artist who stick with one style of music – she began exploring and embracing many different musical genres at an early age; which led to the development of her own unique style – a mix of Pop, Country, and Americana.  Music professionals have pushed her to define her style into one genre.  She quickly and politely responds to them; “I am starting out my career as a cross over artist – I don’t want to be defined by one particular style.  Like splatter paint my music represents many different parts of me.”

As a young girl Emily was very shy, so it was very surprising to her parents when she begged them to let her enter a local talent contest.  They quickly realized that their shy little girl wasn’t so shy on stage.  They knew then that their little premature girl, who almost didn’t survive had survived for a reason – which was to share her God given talents with others.

A singer/songwriter, with many talents – Emily’s music is a perfect fit for any stage.  With years of dance training and numerous vocal performances this spunky little Oklahoma girl will dance and sing her way into your hearts with her diverse catalog of songs she has penned.  She often paves her own path including producing her own shows.

Growing up with a loving family she is a very humble young lady with a deep desire to help others.  “I am determined to be a positive role model.  I have very high standards and won’t compromise my self or others.  Age appropriate clothing and lyrics are important to me.  I stand firmly in my faith it has provided me with everything I need.  My music demonstrates who I am and what I stand for.  Music is like oxygen to me – without it I wouldn’t survive.  Its part of me when I am happy, it comforts me when I am sad.  I can’t imagine my life without music.”

From opening shows for President George W. Bush, Marty Stuart, Sawyer Brown, and Bryan White; to performing at many historic sites across the country such as Tootsies, Bluebird Café, SXSW, House of Blues, Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, Six Flags and Disneyland this young lady has mounted an exceptional bio that attest to her hard work and dedication.  In her spare time you might find her on a theater stage in one of the many lead musical theater roles she has landed; or performing the National Anthem at numerous events including the OKC Thunder games or NASCAR.

With numerous awards including a five time recipient of the Oklahoma and North American Country Music Associations Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year she caught the eye of not one but two Grammy Award winners – Juan Otero, songwriter and Ken Caillat, producer – best known for his work with Fleetwood Mac; she is currently working on EP’s under their direction.  When asked about working with such well know producer she simply states “I am excited and honored, and I can assure you that every track will be authentic and written from my heart; I know I will continue to learn and grow under their direction”.
