Bad Seed Rising set to tour in suppport of Adelita's Way and Red

The youngest group ever signed to Roadrunner Records, Bad Seed Rising have truly proven they are one band that is well deserving of your attention. They have just announced that they have been added on as support for Adelita’s Way and Red. The tour is set to start on May 29th in Oklahoma City and run through June. We are very excited to see a couple Northern California dates and hope to bring you an interview with this fast rising band as they make a stop in San Francisco. In other news for the band, their song, ‘Bad Seed Rising’ from their debut EP, “Charm City,” has been chosen to be the end title song for the new Melissa McCarthy film, Spy, which will be released in theaters June 5^th. The film’s director Paul Feig commented on how the song was chosen for the film:

“Movies exist on cable now and every time you’re on cable, you come across those white titles on black, just rolling slowly with some s****y song playing, and that’s like five minutes of your movie! I like to create these really fun end credits where there’s stuff going on and we have a great song. We were doing a test screening and my music supervisor Erica Weis always puts music from her iPod on for the crowd to come in to. I heard this song and I grabbed her and I was like, ‘What’s that song?’ It was ‘Bad Seed Rising’ by a band called Bad Seed Rising. I said, ‘that’s our end credits song!’”
