We brought you our full coverage of Red’s Of Beauty and Rage Tour as it made a stop in San Francisco yesterday at the DNA Lounge. You can check out our concert review here: DNA Lounge rocks with Red, Adelita’s Way and Bad Seed Rising. We were really excited to get to check out firsthand Bad Seed Rising. We heard of them last year and followed them as they became the youngest band to sign to Roadrunner Records. From the first time I heard them, I was blown away by their energetic youthful straight up rock sound.

They took to the stage and at first glance, you may think you are looking at just another  young teen garage band, but then the second they started, you couldn’t help but smile widely as they infected the room with ROCK! They meant business and there are well beyond their years as musicians. Francheska on vocals is amazing. She is the true personification of the new generation of rock. She has the spunk of a young Joan Jett, blended with modern flair and powerful vocals of Haley Williams and Taylor Momsen. You can’t help but be captivated by her vocals.

You then are drawn to Louey, who I swear, is channeling a young Cliff Burton. He is a madman on his bass and his energy is unwavering. Mason on guitar is fierce as he is hitting every note with precision and making sure the crowd is having a good time. Aiden on drums is bringing it all together as he is smiling away making it look so easy and yet, kicking out some crazy beats.  All four of them shine individually and yet they work together so seamlessly for a spot on sound.

We had the opportunity to interview them shortly before their set and you can check that out here:

I will leave you with photos of their set by our Rockin Ryan:

Bad Seed Rising have several dates remaining on the RED tour as well as continuing on with an Adelita’s Way headlining tour. Make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on their latest news and show dates. You don’t want to miss them if they are coming even remotely close to a venue near you. If you are missing a true rock show, Bad Seed Rising is definitely providing you with the rock you have been missing!
