Cleveland rockers Hey Monea have recently released their new album The Fifty and today are unleashing their new sitcom inspired music video for their song, Ghetto Family. As the video pays homage to the cheesy 70s sitcoms, Nate Monea comments,
“We see our friends and family from our hometown of Canton, Ohio as a lovable ragtag group of rascals that would feel right at home in a broadcast comedy from that era, and the video is an attempt to see what our world would look like if it were a fictionalized television version of itself. It also serves as an unabashed love letter to the downtown arts district of Canton, Ohio — our own little oasis of creativity in the Midwest.”
