Harvard of the South is our Band of the Day

Today’s Band of the Day is a wonderful new band which formed from a side project of members of Blue October, Hurricane Bells and Longwave. We had the opportunity to catch them perform the other night opening for Blue October at Ace of Spades in Sacramento. It was amazing, to say the least. I was so glad that we got there early enough to see them blow away the crowd with their high energy set. It is great to see a band making great rock and roll with a passion for their music and it really shows when these guys perform live. They played the title track off their newly released EP, Miracle and it is a musical gem. This is one song that can truly become your lifeline of hope and captures your heart. Justin Furstenfeld delivers such honest emotion and vulnerability in the song yet, yet displays such a powerful strength.

Steve is fierce on his Fender and connects so well with the audience. Matt and Jeremy bring it all together with their precision playing and never miss a beat. We really look forward to what is in store for Harvard of the South. This is one band that you should keep close to your radar!
