Hellyeah are gearing up for their first show on the Mayhem Festival this weekend. They will be hitting the main stage at 7:05 each night and I hope you don’t miss them. We will be seeing them this Sunday at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View. Hellyeah have teamed up with with domestic abuse prevention organization NO MORE. In their #HushNoMore campaign they have been sending messages of hope and support to survivors of domestic abuse. The band released their music video for HUSH in April. This song and music video tell the story of frontman Chad Gray’s personal life experience dealing with family violence. Check out the video here:
It is an amazing song that captures the depth of pain and emotion of experiencing family violence. It brings a voice to those who may remain silent and it also brings hope to those who might feel helpless.
