Like A Storm take over the Ace of Spades on the Blood for Blood Tour

IMG_0867

Last night we were at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento for the Hellyeah Blood For Blood Tour. With the crowd arriving early and wrapping around the block a couple hours before doors opening, gave us all the indication we were in for a packed house. We arrived and caught a couple songs of Archer who warmed up the crowd and then Like A Storm came out and once again delivered a 150% with their performance. We have been seeing them perform since they first toured the states with Alter Bridge back in 2010/2011 and they are just as impressive as that first time they blew us away.

It was awesome to see so many Like A Storm shirts in the crowd and how so many were singing along to and knew all the words. We had the chance to chat with bassist, Kent Brooks earlier before the show and we will be bringing you that interview later this week. We got to talk about this tour and how you can get yourself a VIP hangout with the band before the show. It is their VIP Bus Party Experience and you can check it out by visiting here: http://www.likeastorm.limitedrun.com/products/538563-voodoo-vip-hang-out-with-like-a-storm-on-their-tour-bus.

Like A Storm have this way of capturing the crowd’s attention and are there to insure that everyone is having the time of their life. Everybody was into their set and when they performed Wish You Hell, the crowd went wild. They knew the song and sang along to it and when they played Love The Way You Hate Me, they must have broken the sound barrier as their screams took over the venue. I am sure the people having dinner at the Bar R15 or Magpies were singing along too!  The slideguitar on Wish You Hell is one of my favorite parts and to see them perform it live was pure bliss. Oh, and you can’t forget the kick ass didgederoo that makes you want to run out and pick up your own. You might want to hold off since it is truly an art to perfect it they way Chris does!

They really deliver a top notch stage performance that we look forward to each time they come around. Check out some photos from our Rockin Ryan of their set:

Like A Storm definitely came, conquered and kicked ass! The tour continues on through March and make sure to get yourself to a show.
