Prepare to be blown away by The Glorious Sons on their current tour

With my schedule of concert and festival coverage I probably get in about 250 sets a year and sometimes I come across a band that I know will have me thinking about their performance long after. Most recently, I had the experience when I caught The Glorious Sons from Ontario, Canada as they made a stop in San Francisco at the DNA Lounge. They put on an incredible set that had me grinning from ear to ear as I watched a band for the first time and knew that it will definitely not be my last. They are currently on tour with 10 Years for the From Birth To Burial Tour which also includes Otherwise and Luminoth. We had the chance to chat with the band shortly before their set, check out the interview here:

We featured The Glorious Sons just a couple weeks ago as one of our Bands of The Day because their infectious rock sound captured our attention from the first listen. Of course, seeing them perform live completely blew us away.  They have such a great energetic rock vibe that brings to life a mix of classic rock with a modern flair. Their music brings to mind everything from Lynyrd Skynrd, Bruce Springsteen, The Doors to even the fictional band Stillwater. But one thing is for sure, The Glorious Sons have created their own unique signature sound.  When they hit the stage, they came out with a 150% energy and didn’t stop until they walked off. The crowd was truly invigorated by them and it was great to see how many people were talking about their set afterwards. I could hear a lot, “these guys are unbelievable” or “everyone will know them soon” to even the comment from a young fan, “I can’t wait to tell my friends about ’em”.

That is what The Glorious Sons do, they literally create a vibe or an energy throughout the crowd. People getting excited about Rock n Roll once again, and  wanting to yell out loud in pride, that Rock n Roll is here to stay! Check out photos from our Rockin Ryan of their set:

I know I often tell you to get out and enjoy some live music but this time, it is an order! Get yourself to one of The Glorious Sons concerts and you just may have found your new favorite band. They will not disappoint and you know you will definitely be seeing them again. This band is not going anywhere except to the top! With the release of  their album The Union back in September 2014, they continue to have great success with three singles hitting the airwaves. I love their energetic vibe and their songs completely rock as they bring to life stories from the blue collar perspective. They so easily create a connection with the listener through songs that will soon become the playlist of your life. They deliver pure straight up rock and roll that you can feel in your soul.
