In a time when the music industry has undergone some major changes and social media limitations, it becomes harder and harder for new bands to get their name out there. Especially if a band stands out as creating their own unique sound and style, bridging together various styles of music. Well there is one band that I would like to introduce you to as they are quite deserving of your attention! Allow me to introduce you to The Bummers.
The Bummers have recently released their self titled EP and it is quite a musical gem. They have such a unique style that fuses everything from alternative, punk, rock, funk, metal and much more. I love it that they are not set on fitting into a certain genre checkbox and are tearing down the genre boundaries. Their EP delivers driving rhythm that will have your hips moving, funky vibes travelling your veins and a smile on your face.
Check out their funky track that I am hooked on, She’s Pretty When She Smokes. It features stellar songwriting, sexy funk guitars, and vocals that are well beyond their years:
One thing is certain, this band’s passion rings true on each and every song and with their determination, they will get everyone to take notice of them. It won’t be long until everyone is familiar with The Bummers.
