Crown The Empire share new single “Black Sheep”

Post-metalcore quartet, Crown The Empire share the next single from their forthcoming fifth studio album DOGMA out April 28th via RiseRecords. “Black Sheep,” joins previously released “DOGMA,” “Immortalize,” “In Another Life” featuring Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante, and “Dancing With The Dead.” “We’ve tackled many lofty ideas with the singles we’ve released thus far but with ‘Black Sheep’ we wanted to bring it back down to earth to our early days as a band. Crown The Empire share new clip for “Johnny’s Revenge” (Reimagined)

Crown The Empire have released a reimagined version of their song Johnny’s Revenge, to mark the 10th anniversary of their debut album The Fallout. The new version features Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, Dave Stephens from We Came As Romans, and Craig Owens from D.R.U.G.S. Crown The Empire are currently on the road for The Fallout 10-year anniversary tour, with support from D.R.U.G.S., The Word Alive, and Until I Wake. Backstage Club, Munich It’s been a while, since Crown The Empire have been out on tour in Germany as a headliner. 3 ½ years ago they played at the Backstage, but in a slightly bigger venue. Their last live performance here though was about 10 months back, where they were supporting One OK Rock. It gave them a chance to introduce themselves to a bigger audience. Since CTE haven’t been out on tour in Germany a lot over the last years, it was hard to say, how many people would really show up. As it turned out, the choice of Coldrain as one of the support acts, was helpful on that part. Many of the people queueing wore Coldrain shirts and they were clearly here to party with them. The strength of the crowd was equally strong throughout the whole night. Coldrain got the crowd going from start to finish. Crown The Empire – ‘Dave isn’t in Crown The Empire anymore’

It’s been discussed for quite a while now, if Crown The Empire’s screamer Dave Escamilla will ever play with the band again and if he’s still a member. On Crown The Empire’s latest tour and also the European Tour with Of Mice And Men he wasn’t with the band. At first it was just an absence from touring which eventually led to the departure. Crown The Empire released the following statement on their facebook page Bands are a lot like a relationship; you’ve all heard this. Sometimes when shit goes south, it’s hard to tell who broke up with whom, if you’re ever going to get back together, when to give them back their things – it’s messy, and it takes a while to figure out how to get back to focusing on just yourself, when all you’ve known for a good part of your life is sharing it with this other person.
