Kings of Chaos perform at SOLD OUT Benefit concert for the Dolphin Project

Earlier this week, the supergroup Kings of Chaos performed to a SOLD OUT crowd at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco. The concert was presented by Dolphin Propaganda as a benefit concert for Ric O’Barry’s Dolphin Project. What an amazing lineup that featured legendary musicians to include Slash, Sammy Hagar, Glenn Hughes, Billy Duffy, Myles Kennedy, Matt Sorum, Doug Aldrich, Duff McKagan, and Gilby Clarke. In addition, a silent auction was held before the star studded set that included one of a kind memorabilia such as signed guitars, drum heads, Flipper script, Tony Hawk skateboard and much more. The crowd was generous in their bidding as they raised money for such an incredible cause. The Fillmore was packed to capacity as everyone was ready for the stellar set by Kings Of Chaos. Adopt the Arts Benefit Concert delivers a stellar performance by legendary artists at The Roxy

  Adopt the Arts held their benefit concert which honored Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) and Butch Trucks (Allman Brothers Band) for their contribution to American art and culture.  The live benefit concert delivered a stellar performance which included a list of legendary artists.  Co-founder musician Matt Sorum (Guns n Roses, Velvet Revolver) was not only the host of the night but he stayed up on stage and jammed for several songs of the night.  The honorees, Billy Gibbons and Butch Trucks both received an award for their dedication and contribution to American arts.  After each received their award, they stayed up on stage and performed with a group of more legendary musicians including, SLASH, DUFF McKAGAN (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver), BILLY DUFFY, RICHIE SAMBORA (Bon Jovi), STEVE LUKATHER (Toto), ORIANTHI,  EDGAR WINTER, JIMMY VIVINO (Conan O’Brien) vocalist FRANKIE PEREZ, and many more special guests including THE DISREPUTABLE FEW, a group of surprise killer musicians, will serve as the backing band for the night. Check out the new video by Matt Sorum’s Fierce Joy for The Sea

Earlier this year, I told you about one of my favorite releases this year, a solo project by Matt Sorum. Matt Sorum‘s Fierce Joy released his new album, Stratosphere on March 11th and it is a truly amazing work of art. Many know Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Matt Sorum for his role as legendary drummer of  Guns n’ Roses, The Cult, and  Velvet Revolver but now through his new album, Matt sheds a new light on his musical talents and once again has you in appreciation and awe. Matt wrote the entire album and plays the piano, acoustic guitar and lead vocals. He even chose to record it on a front end analog, Trident console. Once you take a first listen, you will be shaking your head ind wonder about why we haven’t been treated to the sweet sound of Matt‘s voice sooner.
