3TEETH Releases New Single/Video for “Higher Than Death”

August 24, 2023

3TEETH are set to release their first full length album in four years. Their album EndEx is set for a September 22nd release via Century Media Records. They have just released a new single along with an animated video for their song Higher than Death. Check out the track here: Album News EndEx features the handiwork of a solid extended team including the accomplished sound designer Mick Gordon (best known for his work on the gaming phenomenon DOOM) who produced several of the tracks along with producer Nick Rowe and mixer Sean Beavan (NIN), bringing in another dimension to the band’s unmistakable sound. Early singles have included noisemaker “Paralyze” (featuring Ho99o9); the gripping sonic salvo, “Merchant of the Void,” that touches on the bleak landscape of modern society amid A.I. takeovers and economic collapse; “Slum Planet,” taking aim at the ills of a sick planet obsessed with over-consumption at all costs; Scorpion,” a track in which the band’s instrumental arsenal is tempered by alluring female vocal chants that provide an ambient feel; and the stripped-back single “Drift,” paired with a video showing the band at work in the studio. Diablo announce new album “When All The Rivers Are Silent”

December 17, 2021

One of the biggest names in the Finnish metal scene, the masters of outlaw metal DIABLO, will release their long-awaited seventh album When All The Rivers Are Silent on February 25th, 2022. With singles “Grace Under Pressure” and “The Extinctionist” already out, the album is now available to pre-save on all DSPs at this link. Physical pre-orders will be available soon. Diablo albums are known to be carefully handcrafted, and WATRAS makes no exception. The leading duo of the band, Rainer Nygård (vocals & guitar) and Marko Utriainen (guitar), have written an intense collection of songs which radiate great care for detail. The album concept and visuals take the band back to its very roots, river Kalajoki in the Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. WATRAS was recorded by Samu Oittinen (Insomnium) and mixed by Jens Bogren (Arch Enemy, Opeth, Kreator). Rainer, also known as a huge fan of Kris Kristoffersson and outlaw country music in general, describes the lyrical concept as follows: Basically the album is an honest and merciless story collection about a person who has [Read More]

Pridelands announce debut album and share new single “The Lake Of Twisted Limbs”

November 25, 2021

Aussie metal quintet Pridelands have revealed new single ‘The Lake of Twisted Limbs’ from their forthcoming debut album “Light Bends” that’s due out January 14th via SharpTone Records. Commenting on the new single, the band states, The Lake of Twisted Limbs was a song that in a lot of ways came naturally in the writing process but took an emotional toll on all of us. It’s about attempting to pull someone back from the brink of total self-destruction and how ultimately that attempt is futile if that person refused to be saved. Getting better is sadly a choice that someone needs to make for themselves. So, in essence, the song is about reaching out despite being aware of the futility there. I think we’ve all felt that in one way or another – perhaps from both sides of the coin.” Pridelands new song follows a string of crushing singles from Light Bends that the band has rolled out over the last few months including ‘The Walls’ and ‘Heavy Tongue’, which has stirred up excitement and [Read More]

Blood Youth release brand new track “Something To Numb The Pain”

September 21, 2021

Following the release of recent singles “Colony3” and “Body of Wire”, Blood Youth have unleashed another blast of heaviness in new track, “Something to Numb the Pain”. The contemporary metal four-piece once again combine their metallic hardcore sound with technical proficiency and a stellar sense of melody. As a result, “Something to Numb the Pain” expertly balances between riffs, soloing and seething screams before launching into ephemeral vocal lines primed to light up their live set. “’Something To Numb The Pain’ was one of the first songs written/composed for the new album. We wrote the outro riff whilst on tour in soundcheck in Germany and I ended up just slotting the rest of the song around it. We wanted to tap into a more classic Blood Youth structure/format whilst implementing new elements like solos, synths, drum patterns and vocal ranges. The song’s lyrical theme touches a lot on the subject of fake people. As a band we’re sick and tired of watching people in this industry and the new bands pop up that aren’t in [Read More]
