Love and a .38 delivers new music with “Just a Woman”

Well they did it again! One of my favorite bands, Love and a .38 released their new song via a free download and it blows my mind again. They really seem to deliver just what I am missing these days. Their new song “Just a Woman” has such a bluesy classic rock sound to it and I just fell in love with it instantly. It has a great chorus that makes me want to cruise out on the open highway with no worries and my Love and a .38 turned up loud! They are playing this Thursday, 21st at the Roxy in Hollywood. Jettblack is a union of amazing ROCK talent!

I know I covered these guys during my 12 Days of Christmas but I just had to repost them since I can’t stop thinking about them!! How about some off the hook hard rock with Jettblack from across the pond. Okay my 80’s and 90’s Rock lovers out there, here is another awesome high powered, energy driven rock band that you are going to fall in love with. I promise on this one! These guys deliver the goods and by the way, it is so nicely packaged… Jettblack are four rockers from High Wycombe, England and started back in 2007. They have cited their influences as “Anything up until 1994”. Well these guys have been touring Europe and we are waiting for our turn to Rock out to this fantastic band. Will Turpin and The Way perform a first rate show on Stageit!

I had the pleasure of watching my first Stageit concert last week and it was an awesome one. Stageit provides live broadcasts of performers and you get a front row seat right to watch it all without even leaving your house. It was a great experience and even more so since it was Will Turpin and The Way performing the complete song list from The Lighthouse as well as a couple extra surprises. Will Turpin, known for being the amazing bassist for one of my favorite rock bands, Collective Soul. I have probably seen Collective Soul over 25 times and I look forward to many more shows of theirs in the future. I know I have been quite busy since coming back from NAMM and working on the Online Magazine, but I also have been quite busy taking care of my 79 year old mother, who has been battling Parkinson’s Disease for the past 15 years. The hardest part has been the last year, since my father passed away from cancer. Watching her includes me staying with her for two to three days a week, all day, and it is exhausting in many ways. She has at times become quite irritated, cranky, and hard to be around. Well, this past weekend was my time to be with my mother from Friday morning until Sunday morning. With Sunday morning being my birthday, I was going to spend the day with my family afterwards.
