Rockers Switchblade Serenade are only a couple weeks away from the release of their album, “Alive at Night”. We can’t wait for it! We featured Switchblade Serenade as Day 6 on our 12 days of Bands You Have To Know. These guys definitely have the rocker look and the talent to back it up! Their new album is going to have you hooked. Bassist Ed Mandevil tells us more about their new single, “Who are You?”. “The song is about asking the listener who they really are. Ok… so now I am really bummed about not making out to the 3 Day Camp Freddy Residency at The Roxy in Hollywood. First I told you yesterday about Austin Winkler (formerly of Hinder) joined them on stage as he sang Born To Be Wild. (Read post here). Well, last night, I missed catching our featured guitarist Day 1 (Read Day 1 here), Jeff George of Harlot and his bandmate Danny Worsnop (Asking Alexandria) join Camp Freddy. They are an incredible local band with a big sound that demands to be heard. Day 6 of 12 Days of Guitarists goes to Brody DeRozie!

Get ready, it is going to get hot in here…. For Day 6 of 12 Days of Guitarists, we bring to you Brody DeRozie of American Monster from Las Vegas. We had the opportunity to watch Brody play with Hell or Highwater during the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento. Brody is a madman on his guitar! He is belting out riffs, smoking solos and he just makes it look so easy. You can definitely tell that he loves playing and is a crowd pleaser. We had the opportunity to talk with Brody about American Monster and he told us, “American Monster is slotted to have a debut show back onstage in the early winter months of 2014 with the original lineup in Las Vegas.
