Photogallery: Silverstein, Comeback Kid, Senses Fail and Koyo

December 5, 2022

2022 is slowly coming to an end. Despite the big “C” it was a busy concert year. Everything is almost back to normal. During the long break many tours have been postponed or canceled, so this year the concert world had a lot of catching up to do. Silverstein have been to Munich during their 20 years-anniversary tour . Fast forward 2 1/2 years …Silverstein are back. This time they brought Koyo, Senses Fail and Comeback Kid with them. With four bands on the bill, the show started early at 7 pm. The venue wasn’t packed at the time, which as expected changed over the course of the night. Koyo and Senses Fail have done everything to make quite an impression that night. Senses Fail being quite popular in the US, are still not very well known around here yet, but I’m pretty sure that’s going to change, once they play here more often. Comeback Kid was kind of the “odd one out”. After all, they are a hardcore band, which musicwise stood out amongst [Read More]

SENSES FAIL RELEASE “LUSH RIMBAUGH” (THOREAU REMIX)

January 26, 2022

Senses Fail, have today dropped a remixed version of “Lush Rimbaugh”, collaborating with Los Angeles-based producer, songwriter, and engineer Harry Myers, also known as Thoreau. Myers has been creating music and worked with artists like Illenium, Mothica, Darci, Kid Indigo, Glimlip, and played shows with the likes of Luca Lush, Kill Paris and more. Frontman Buddy Nielsen speaks on the collaboration commenting: “I got a chance to meet and work with Harry, and we collaborated on some really incredible music. I was very excited to hear him use his Lo-Fi skills in order to bring a different vibe to Senses Fail songs”. Nielsen adds: “I see a very bright future for him and all his projects”. Last year, Myers (Thoreau) connected with the Senses Fail team and started work on a session for his other project, Harry Was Here. This led to the single “Weight of the World”. After this successful collaboration, Harry decided to take a swing at remixing one of his favorite Senses Fail songs, “Lush Rimbaugh”. For the remix, he channeled his [Read More]

Senses Fail announce new album and release new single “I’m Sorry I’m Leaving”

November 6, 2021

Senses Fail have just announced their highly anticipated eighth album “Hell Is In Your Head”. The album is set for release 15th July 2022 via Pure Noise Records. Co-produced by Saosin’s Beau Burchell, ‘Hell Is In Your Head’ marks the band’s first studio album since 2018’s “If There Is Light, It Will Find You”. The announcement is accompanied by the release of their brand new single “I’m Sorry I’m Leaving” which sees vocalist Buddy Nielsen confronting his anxieties around being a career musician and the constant struggle to create a good work/life balance and being a father. With the wider album’s themes, Nielsen explores the more philosophical and abstract nature of death, mortality and pulls inspiration form works such as TS Eliot’s “The Waste Land” and placing the album in the same world. These key elements helped form his vision for Senses Fail. “The band has now become me and vice-versa”. He explains: “I’m trying to put myself on the map as a songwriter and as a complete musician, not just as a lyricist or [Read More]

Senses Fail have been tearing up stages out on the Sum 41 “Don’t Call It a Sum Back Tour”. Last night, they delivered a fiercely entertaining set at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. I tell you these guys are definitely eating their Wheaties and Spinach because they were fueled with non-stop adrenaline. Vocalist Buddy was a madman on the stage and is absolutely entertaining with his jumps, flips, splits, cartwheels, spins, and so much more. His energy is infectious and the crowd went wild from start to finish.
