Marie-Claire Berreen & Her Husbands returns with a touching new video

December 8, 2015

One of my favorite angelic voice has returned! UK Folk rockers Marie-Claire Berreen & Her Husbands have just released a beautiful new video for their song, Come Home. Once again, y ou are greeted with the warm sweet vocals of Marie-Claire that embrace you in a comforting hug.  “Come Home was inspired by the view of a North Welsh harbour. The song is filled with emotion and imagery, of losing someone and yearning for their return, which inspired the story telling nature of the video. The aerial footage was taken at the harbour and then overlaid with scenes created by artists at Worcester Snoezelen, an independent charity which offers multi-sensory and creative activities for people with disabilities.” Check out the amazing video here: You can check out some behind the scenes photos and how they made this creative video by visiting:  http://mcbandhh.squarespace.com/making-the-video. Marie-Claire Berreen is a majestic beauty wrapped in music

February 12, 2013

Majestic Beauty Wrapped in Music I have a wonderful treat for your ears. It is the majestic beauty wrapped in music by Marie-Claire Berreen. When you think of some of the best female vocalists like Barbra Streisand, Sarah McLaughlin, Tori Amos, and Leigh Nash,  you think of powerful voices that can reach within you and touch you with warmth. That is what I feel when I listen to the classical folk music by Marie-Claire Berreen. Marie-Claire’s voice is like sunshine brightening the sky. you can’t help but feel the warmth from her words and they leave you feeling sun kissed. She has a wonderful CD of her beautiful music titled, “Box and a Ribbon” that will take over all of your senses.  The first song is “Honeypie” and literally is the perfect way to start off the CD. You are warm and open and feel her welcoming embrace. It is like that long lost friend coming to greet you again and feeling like you never left their side. You are treated to so many wonderful [Read More]

Hello World, It’s time to listen to Miggs!

August 30, 2012

My son Ryan and I had the pleasure of seeing a great band last year when they opened up for Candlebox and since then I have been listening to their music and following their career.  Please allow me to introduce them to you. “Hello World, I would like you to meet one of the hardest working bands out there, MIGGS and they have the great sound to back it all up!” Miggs has been around since 2001 and in that time were able to put out 5 great albums and they are not shy about touring. They are no stranger to booking upwards of 150 shows per year. When you watch them live, you can see how they truly enjoy what they are doing and their passion for their music shines through their songs. They have a great Rock/Pop sound but are so much more than just a title of a genre. With their incredible songwriting and their “feel good” music, they will have you dancing around in no time. They currently have their new [Read More]

Sometimes after playing in bands you decide when is the right time to travel that different path and do at alone and present your solo material to the world. Well that time is now for Shaun and we welcome his refreshing and soul touching sound. Shaun has a charming voice and with his easy listening and romantic lyrics will have you singing along in no time. His music is melodic and lyric driven which invites the listener and captivates them with his catchy verses.  If you like Oasis or Ed Sheeran and romance of David Gray, you will be immediately drawn into Shaun’s music. You can currently hear two of Shaun’s song on soundcloud at www.soundcloud.com/shaun-grant-acoustic and I think you will really enjoy them.
