Concert Review: Tom Keifer, Backstage Halle, Munich, October 15th, 2015 by Alex Bock

October 17, 2015

Last night Munich was in for a special treat. Tom Keifer, best known as the Cinderella frontman, stopped by to take us all back down memory lane. The Backstage Halle was fully packed, when the show started at 8.30 pm, about 30 minutes later than announced. There was no opening act, which is kinda unusual, but it’s also not that often that acts ‘with a long history in the Rock n’ Roll business’ still draw that many people. Keifer started the show with ‘Fallin’ Apart At The Seams’, the opening track of Cinderella’s second studio album ‘Long Cold Winter’. The set contained some of the songs from his first solo-record ‘The Way Life Goes’ which was released about 2 ½ years ago, like ‘It’s not enough’, ‘Different Light’ and ‘The Flower Song’. The second big part on the set-list were Cinderella songs. Everyone that was there for those wasn’t gonna be disappointed, because he played all the great tracks that were hit singles for the band like ‘Shake Me’, ‘Nobody’s Fool’, ‘Coming Home’ and [Read More]

The night started off with a high energy set from local favorites, Force of Habit. These guys truly rock the stage and got the crowd fired up. The second Tom hit the stage, the crowd went wild. His vocals were timeless and sounded spot on, giving me chills as he sang. Everybody around us was in awe of his performance and were truly enjoying the set. Whether you were there to hear Tom’s stellar songs from his highly acclaimed solo record, The Way Life Goes or were a die-hard Cinderella fan, you were in the right place! Tom played several of his solo hits like It’s Not Enough, The Flower Song, A Different Light and Solid Ground sprinkled in with Cinderella faves like Somebody Save Me, Shake Me, Heartbreak Station, Nobody’s Fool, Coming Home and more.
