Archer Oh brings epic opening set to Menlo Park at Guild Theatre

August 26, 2023

We were so excited to catch Dogstar at the amazing Guild Theatre venue in Menlo Park. What was even better, was finding a new favorite band in the opener. Archer Oh is from Moreno Valley and they absolutely killed it at the show. We loved their nonstop energy and the music had us hooked.  We have been hooked on Easy Eyes and that song has a permanent spot on our playlist! They are a surft/indie garage band that really captured the crowd’s attention. We can’t wait to see them live again. Check out some photos from their set by our Rockin Ryan:   Make sure to check them out and visit their social media sites and stay up to date on the latest news. Chat with members of The Deadlies at NAMM 2016

February 2, 2016

We were excited when we ran into a couple of the guys from The Deadlies at this year’s NAMM Convention. They blew us away last year at BottleRock 2015 and this year they return to BottleRock 2016. One thing is certain, they truly bring the party to the stage as they will blow you away with their fun in the sun kick ass set!   Check out our interview with Bob and James at NAMM here: The Deadlies can be described as a California surf punk/rock band with a little Honky Tonk and Country thrown in.  One thing is for sure, when you listen to The Deadlies, you can’t help but move around and have some fun! They are “paying homage to the Ventures Dick Dale and the Chantays as well as the California Honky-tonk sound of Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam while keeping an under lying presence of the California surf punk scene that brought us the Dickies, Agent Orange and Top Jimmy and the Rhythm Pigs.” They are set to perform on Friday, [Read More]

The Deadlies delivered a fun beach party set at Bottle Rock Napa 2014!

June 4, 2014

The Deadlies were one of our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Bands and we were able to catch their set this past Saturday. One thing is for sure, they truly brought the fun to the festival. Their stage was set up like a surf party complete with beach go-go dancers. The City Winery Local Stage was one of the most happenin spots when The Deadlies took to the stage. This is a local band with a big sound! As we told you before in our preshow coverage, you may have already seen or heard them play but we were not familiar with them.
