Noise Pop brings Cherry Glazerr and Wombo to San Francisco

March 4, 2024

February 29th was a special day. No, not that it is leap year! It was the night that Cherry Glazerr returned to San Francisco.  Noise Pop brought us a great show Thursday  night at August Hall.  The sold out show kicked off with an impressive set from Wombo and got the crowd riled up. Check out photos from their set by our Rockin Ryan: The crowd kept up on coming in and packed the house as Cherry Glazerr hit the stage. The intensity was infectious as the band gave 150% to their fans.  There was a mighty mosh pit in the front that couldn’t help themselves as the music was just so damn inviting! The great thing about the Noise Pop festivals is that they bring a wide audience ranging in age from teens to seasoned fans.  One thing was certain everyone in August Hall was having the time of their life. Check out photos from their set by our Rockin Ryan: You can catch Cherry Glazerr out on tour. They have also just announced [Read More]

Today our BottleRock Napa Featured Artist Royel Otis releases debut album

February 16, 2024

Today for our BottleRock Napa featured artist, we bring to you Royel Otis. This Australian guitar-pop duo from Sydney took us by storm last year when we first heard their track Sofa King. We loved their sound and were instantly hooked, impatiently waiting for them to come to the Bay Area.  We were so excited to see that they will be performing at BottleRock Napa 2024! Today, Royel Otis released their debut album Pratts & Pain. About the album, The album is named after our favourite pub in Streatham that we would go to when we were recording with Dan Carey. Dan would ask us to record vocals, and we’d say, ‘Just give us half an hour, we’re popping to Pratts & Payne’, and we’d have a pint, a few shots, and get some lyrics down. One of our favourites from the album is Foam, an ode to all those who need their mouths washed out with soap. It’s ok if you don’t understand some things just don’t look back in anger. Check out Foam [Read More]

METALCORE DROPOUT’S TOUR Coheadline with FIT FOR A KING & THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

February 15, 2024

The 49ers were playing in the Superbowl and we didn’t know what to expect at the Metalcore Dropout’s Tour as they were playing on Superbowl Sunday in San Francisco. The Tour featured coheadline with Fit for a King and The Devil Wears Prada, along with openers Counterparts and Avoid.  Well no worries because the place was packed as concertgoers were checking their phone’s before the first band hit the stage.  The energy was intense as the 49ers teetered on a win as Avoid hit the stage. But as the show started all eyes were on the band. Then as the 49ers loss was announced, the crowd knew what to do as they let out their rage and anger with the fiercest mosh pit! Next up was the Canadian hardcore band Counterparts. We saw them a decade ago and they were every bit as energetic, if not more. They killed it and held us captive from start to finish. The crowd was wild as the co-headliner The Devil Wears Prada hit the stage.  For a [Read More]
