Vans Warped Tour couldn’t conclude their final tour without one of the artists who forever changed the tour; Shiragirl. “Shiragirl is the “punk rock Madonna” who forever changed the Vans Warped Tour. As the story goes, a determined Shira Yevin showed up to the 2004 tour in her iconic pink RV, created her own stage and performed atop it with her band. After receiving a rousing crowd response, Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman invited Shira to return the following summer to host an official Shiragirl Stage. The stage went on to host over 200 female-fronted bands, many making their Warped debuts, including Paramore on their first ever tour, and the legendary JoanJett.” Shiragirl performed a captivating energetic set that also paid homage to the wonderful female artists that have performed at Vans Warped Tour. Real Friends announce new album as they set out to headline the final Vans Warped Tour

Imagine heading to a cool coffee shop to check out your favorite band perform an acoustic set only to find out they are introducing a new album and playing some songs from it! Well, that is exactly what happened to some lucky Real Friends fans this past weekend in Illinois. The band are set to release their third studio album Composure is set to release on July 13 through Fearless Records. This past Friday, June 15, a select group of Chicago fans listened to the album in full after attending surprise listening parties at Sip Of Hope, Evolution Music and Rowboat Creative. CKY just wrapped up Vans Warped Tour with their killer sets. They definitely were one of the bands not to miss on the summer tour. Check out some photos of their set by Rockin Ryan: CKY have announced that they will be heading out on the road supporting HIM on their farewell tour. CKY released The Phoenix on June 16, 2017 via eOne Music. The all new LP is the first release since the band put out Carver City in 2009. The album was engineered and mixed at Rancho De La Luna, the highly regarded recording studio in Joshua Tree, CA.
