The Cerny Brothers have successfully created a new sound for their music which originally was acoustic, folk elements to a more electric rock style.  All the while, they have captured their folk spirit as it fits so well with their new music. Check out the video for their new song, Porch Lights: The song is off of their upcoming album, Sleeping Giant, which will be released worldwide on May 12th, 2015 via Krian Music Group. The album was recorded at legendary Bear Creek Studios in Seattle with producers Jerry Streeter and Ryan Hadlock, who are known for their work with Brandi Carlile and The Lumineers. Guitarist and video director, Scott Cerny explains about the song, “Porch Lights is about being young, desperate and hungry in a place that can’t contain your ambitions. We wanted to make a video that told a story of two lovers on the run in the biggest way we could. Franki Love opens her heart with her new song, Walking Wounded

March 30, 2015

Singer/songwriter Franki Love truly opens her heart with her new single, Walking Wounded. The beautiful emotionally driven song will feed your soul with her inspiring song. The song is off her upcoming album, OTIAS which is set for release later this year. Franki explains about the song to Cliche magazine: “I wrote ‘Walking Wounded’ late one night at the piano, After my mom passed away from cancer, I was being mentored by music producer Phil Ramone who encouraged me to sit at the piano and start writing. I wrote this song about how we’re all connected as one – if one person is hurting, then we are all walking wounded.” “I’m hoping that when people hear the song, they’ll feel inspired and connected to it.” Check out the song here: Franki’s passion for music started early as she began playing music at the young age of four. She is a classically trained pianist and she so easily captures her emotion when she performs. She is like the warmth of comforting hug and her voice brings out [Read More]

The Vantage release music video for Place In The Water

March 30, 2015

Austin based indie pop duo The Vantage may have just released what has become my new Go To song. Their new song, Place In The Water is one of those tracks that is like that moment in Ratatouille where the food critic takes one bite of the meal made by the rat, and he is instantly taken back to a specific memory in time. That hasn’t happened in a while for me, and it was so awesome to have that feeling when I first listened to their new song. It literally brought me back to my twenty something years in the 90’s and we would head to a cool club in San Francisco, the Paradise Lounge. It had four separate stages in the venue that would feature live music from electronic, pop, alternative, punk and modern rock. It was a haven of happiness for many of us. The music would infuse us with hopes and dreams and capture our innocence with fun playful alternative pop tracks. That is what this song brings to me. Now they [Read More]

Dead Asylum release new video for Forgotten Sacrifice

March 30, 2015

Metal/thrash band Dead Asylum have just released a new music video for their song, Forgotten Sacrifice. The dark video was directed and produced by Joshua Keith Young who comments, “The creative team wanted to make sure the video told a story but embodied the band’s personality as well. ‘Forgotten Sacrifice’ does a great job of featuring the band while telling a captivating and dramatic story that will affect people on an emotional level. Those words don’t often come to mind when describing a metal video, but the cast and crew are confident that when viewers see what’s being held captive in a barren dog crate, they’ll likely feel the same.” The video is dark and suspenseful with great visuals and a storyline that captures the band’s headbanging message in support of their debut album ‘General Carnage’ released in 2013, which is available on iTunes and CD Baby. Check the video out here: Vocalist/Guitarist Mike Lister comments, “We had a disturbingly fun time filming the video. All the actors and crew were great and unbelievably professional.
