Reggae gospel singer Josian Minsitries releases empowering music video for her track Victory

July 6, 2017

Hailing from Bermuda is Reggae Gospel Singer Josian Ministries and she has just released a new music video for her song Victory. The song truly gained a powerful new meaning after she triumphed over a personal tragedy.  About Josian: Josian Maybury had to walk through the throes of personal tragedy to find her way to this latest release. After enjoying a musical upbringing Josian all but gave up music when she became pregnant at a young age. Many years later, she found herself divorced and asking God what is her purpose in life. Simultaneously suffering from a debilitating undiagnosed illness, Josian all but lost hope until one night she saw herself sing in a dream. Waking up the next morning Josian knew God has given her purpose, and she began working on her debut album Speak To Me Lord. Following a great reception of Josian Ministries debut album, things were looking up. Josian was hard at work recording her follow-up “Victory” at the studio with Donald Robinson, when the call came: her 7 year-old son [Read More]

Alt-Hardcore Band COVE Unveil New Video SOLIS Band To Hit The Road in July/August

July 3, 2017

COVE  will be heading out on tour this week. They have released a new music video for their song, SOLIS which is serving up heaping helping of British heavy music. They comment about the track, The meaning of the song Solis is subjective to the listener, everyone in the band helped contribute to it and in a way we all have our own definition of what the song is about. To some it may hint at the idea of when one door closes another opens and to someone else it may point at something far more emotive, the loss of a loved one for example. We feel song values are compromised when the outright meaning is spelled out too easily, it’s like telling someone the end of a film before they’ve watched it. Our way of thinking is that the meaning is personal to the individual/individuals listening at that moment in time. We believe this gives the audience a way to have their own personal connection with a song and not be persuaded into what they [Read More]

Check it out below: We have mentioned it before and can’t say it enough, “Dez’s soulful vocals capture such emotion that embraces the listener. He brings out a delicate vulnerability as well as delivers soaring vocals that wrap around you like a comforting warmth” With the new song, it not only highlights his soulful vocals we have fallen in love with, but a level of maturity that has developed in Dez’s songwriting and singing. Dez has continued to hone in his craft and surprise us with each new song, taking us on an emotional journey through his music. He is currently working on a second album and we look forward t his new music.  Though he has followed in his legendary father’s musical footsteps, he continues to pave his own way and create his own signature sound.
