William Control releases new song and video. By Alex Bock

September 5, 2016

Just in time for the start of the ‘Snyths and Sinners’ tour through the UK, William Control released a new song/video called ‘The Monster’. For now it’s a Youtube exclusive. Reason for this is that Control Records signed a distribution deal with Artery/Sony/Red, which is a pretty big deal as it’s giving the band the chance to get their music out to more people than they could do on their own. ‘The Monster’ is the first single of the ‘The Pale E.P.’ The upcoming record is called ‘Revelations’ and will be split into four E.P.’s – Pale, Black, Red and White. The Pale E.P. will be released in mid October. For now, make sure to check out the video Also don’t miss out on catching William Control and the Neuromantic Boys live on their current tour through the UK Go follow William Control on his social media www.facebook.com/williamcontrolofficial http://www.williamcontrol.com http://twitter.com/williamcontrol http://williamcontrol.bigcartel.com www.controlmerch.com Snapchat williamcontrol ~ Contributed by Alex Bock, https://twitter.com/abphotomjp

Chat with William Control as he discusses Film Production of Revelator Book One: The Neuromancer

June 14, 2016

We were very excited to hear the news that William Control (The Control Project) has partnered with Archer Sierra (Dark City Media Group) to produce a film trilogy based on Control’s trans-media body of work, a solo project which includes several albums and three books. The first film Revelator: The Neuromancer was adapted for the screen by Jacob Johnston, who will also be making his directing debut. “ Revelator: The Neuromancer follows a struggling addict whose life is turned upside down with the chance encounter of an enigmatic woman who saves his life from a deal gone south. Their relationship evolves into a profound journey of discovery, destruction, and reconciliation where perception is blurred by the chaos of reality. “ Our colleague Elisha Norman who has been a long time fan and support of William Control, (back from the Aiden days) had a chance to chat with William about the upcoming production. Check out the interview here: We are excited for what is in store for William Control with the film production and the new music he is [Read More]

Concert Review William Control – Munich, Backstage/Werk, 11/24/2014, Contributed by Alexandra

November 26, 2014

Contributed by Alexandra Going through concert announcements a few weeks ago, I spotted William Control playing in Munich. Unfortunately not a headliner tour, but some acts you just need to see live any opportunity you can get. It was William Control’s first time in Germany with this project. Last time was seven years ago with Aiden. That evening he opened for Combichrist. As it is common in Munich and probably some others places too, the room’s not really crowded, when the opening act gets on stage. I couldn’t say how many people really heard of William Control before. If they’d known more about him, there definitely would’ve been more people at the beginning of his show. He started the set with ‘All due restraint’ from the 2010 released album ‘Noir’. Throughout the show he played songs from all his albums ‘Novus Ordo seclorum’, ‘Hate culture’ and ‘Neuromancer’. William was constantly moving around on stage, throwing and catching his mic or circling it around his neck. No standstill whatsoever. It’s fun to watch and the [Read More]

Ashestoangels release video for Heavy Words and Hollow Bones

November 19, 2014

Our favorite Gothic Punk Rock band Ashestoangels have released another video from their album, Horror Cult. This time it is for their song, Heavy Words and Hollow Bones. Check it out here: The video really has me excited to see them live! It really gives you a taste of what it would be like to catch their highly energetic sets!  Crilly says, “We spent the summer out on the road and we took along a couple of friends to film it. We tried to put together a video that captures how much fun those shows were. This is one of our favourite songs to play from the new record and I think we’ve made a video that does it justice.” . If you don’t already have it, be sure to pick up Horror Cult. It is an amazing album from start to finish. Beware, this album will definitely haunt you but in a GOOD WAY! I love it! This is they type of album that you will play from start to finish and find yourself with it on repeat. [Read More]
