EMPIRES announce the upcoming release of Orphan as major label debut

  Empires was one of our featured bands for Bottle Rock Festival and they did an awesome job and were one of the festival highlights. Empires have announced their major label debut Orphan, out September 23rd on Chop Shop/Island Records. Produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent, The Black Angels, Explosions in the Sky), Orphan is a collection of songs immersed in classic post punk and indie rock n’ roll circa 1989-1991, exploring the sonic adventures and emotional heft of artists such as Roxy Music, Wire, and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Modern rockers, Red Tide Rising release video for The Otherside

Modern rockers Red Tide Rising from Denver, Colorado have released a video for their song, The Otherside which is off their new album, The Rising. “The Otherside” was filmed and directed by Mel Haynes, Jr  and shot in a warehouse  in Denver.  The video also features the debut of new bass player, Michael LeBois.  Check out the video here: This young band which formed in 2007 when the members were still in junior high, has really proven that their hard work and determination has taken them into a whole new level with this album.
